DEATH WISH WINGS


INGREDIENTS

  • Vegetable or canola oil (if deep frying)
  • 1 cup Franks Red Hot Pepper Sauce
  • ¼ cup honey (to deaden the pain)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Denzel's Fire Hazard Hot Sauce (or more if you can take it)

DIRECTIONS

Deep fried

  1. Put oil in tall pot no higher than half full.  Oil must be high enough to cover wings.
  2. Deep fry wings until they float to the top of deep fryer or pot. (Usually takes about 10 minutes)
  3. Remove wings from oil and put them in a bowl large enough to toss them.  It's probably a good idea to put some paper towel down first to absorb any excess grease.
  4. Remove paper towel and sprinkle some salt on the wings and give a quick toss.  (salt helps the sauce to stick)
  5. Pour enough sauce on wings to coat and toss.
  6. Enjoy!

Baked

  1. Put wings and sauce in a zip lock bag and shake them up, if possible, marinate overnight.
  2. Place wings on a cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven at 425 ° for 30 minutes.
  3. Turn wings over and brush with any left over sauce.
  4. Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Let stand 5 minutes.
  6. Enjoy!

Barbecued

  1. Put wings and sauce in a zip lock bag and shake them up, if possible, marinate overnight.
  2. Heat grill to high and sear wings on all four sides.
  3. Turn one burner off, place wings on that side.  Slow cook and baste with excess sauce until done.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
