MADEIRA HAM STEAK

This is so easy and so tasty you'll wonder why you didn't think of it yourself.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ -2 lb Ham Steak ½ " thick
  • Spray for skillet
  • 6 tbsp Madeira wine
  • 2 to 4 tbsp Denzel’s Peaches & Scream Hot Sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. Spray a skillet with a bit of vegetable oil (Olive oil is good).
  2. Over high heat lightly brown both sides of the ham steak.
  3. Turn heat down to medium & add the Madeira Wine & the Peaches & Scream sauce.
  4. Cover and simmer for only 5 minutes but do not simmer too long or your ham steak will toughen.
  5. Serve with mashed potatoes, creamed corn & steamed broccoli
  6. Pour the sauce from the ham over the potatoes.
  7. Enjoy

HINT: When you add the wine and Denzel's sauce start with a little sauce and add until you have the heat to your liking. It may have hot sauce in it, but this recipe won’t bite you.
