One of the familiar faces at the Farmer's Market has won three international awards for his products.
Denzel Sandberg, the Producer of Denzel's Hot Sauce in Salmon Arm, Won three prizes at the 2004 Scovie Fiery Foods Competition in Albuquerque, N.M.
The competition drew 600 entrants from the United States, Canada and Australia, Sandberg said in a statement released Sunday.
"Winning a Scovie is the best thing that can happen to anyone in the industry."
Denzel has every right to be proud. In less than two years, Denzel's Hot Sauce has received six international awards.
