Sent in by Corina S

INGREDIENTS

  • 2-3 lbs Chicken Thigh (boneless and skinless)
  • ½ cup Hoisin Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Grated Ginger
  • 1-5 tbsp Denzel's Kamikaze Hot Sauce (depending on how much heat you like)
  • 2 Cloves garlic, smashed and minced
  • ½ tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tsp Butter (for toasted sesame seeds)

DIRECTIONS

  1. To toast sesame seeds, pan fry seeds with about 1 tsp butter.   Over a medium heat, spread seeds out in pan and stir occasionally until seeds turn a golden brown.
  2. In a large bowl mix together:   hoisin sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, Denzel's Kamikaze Hot Sauce, smashed garlic and ground cloves.
  3. Reserve 3-4 tbsp of sauce in separate container.   Add Chicken pieces to the bowl of sauce and toss together ensuring that all of the chicken becomes covered with the sauce.
  4. Grill chicken on barbecue for 20 minutes on med to med-low heat, turning and basting with the sauce from the bowl.   If the chicken flares up, reduce heat to med-low or low.   The chicken can also be cooked in the oven at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Remove grilled chicken and place in a clean large bowl.   Pour reserve sauce over the chicken.   Sprinkle sesame seeds over and then toss to coat.
  6. Eat immediately.
